Saturdays: March 29, April 5, April 12, 2025, 10-12:30 am EST
Format: Interactive. We will attempt to see how Jung’s ideas work out when we attempt to apply them in our own psychology and in our personal experience.
We will spend some time exploring the theme of the killer Animus in the Fairy Tale Bluebeard and we will look at a possible transformation of the Animus: from enemy to friend, from obstacle to “torch bearer”.
Excerpts from the movies Elizabeth (S. Kapur, 1998) and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (D. Fincher, 2011) will be presented as well as some Tango performances in which Anima and Animus dance together.
